Baja Expeditions is proud to promote the use of Mexico's new Conservation Passport. The Passport was initiated in 2006 by the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) to raise funds for the continued protection of the shorelines, inlets, beaches and coves that make Mexico's marine and terrestrial environments so extraordinary to visit.
Contributions insure that funds are available for important conservation work occurring in the area. This includes maintenance of the Natural Protected Areas, research, education, promotion and information distribution, and purchase of equipment.
For 2008, the fee is $28 per person and allows you to visit Mexico's Protected Areas as many times as you wish for an entire year. For Baja Expeditions' day trips, you may continue to purchase passes good for a single day only for approximately $5 per day.
