Our Boats

The DON JOSE (80 ft) was designed and built in 1978 especially for Baja Expeditions. Marine wildlife viewing onboard is at its best as the second and third decks of the boat are high above the water, enabling passengers to look down upon the whales, dolphins, mantas and whale sharks. A crew of six is ready to assist your naturalist for whale watching and nature cruises. For scuba diving expeditions, an experienced dive master is ready to show you the underwater sites. Trips include all meals & beverages while onboard.

Capacity for 16 passengers in seven above-deck, air-conditioned cabins
Most cabins have a sink, changing area, storage closet, adjacent shower and head.
Conveniences include a swim step & storage lockers for gear.
Skiffs to take you ashore or to nearby dive sites; kayaks available for another way to explore the waters.
VHS video system and natural history library onboard.
Tanks & weights are also available for our dive trips.

Day Boats

The DON CANO (45 ft) is a dive boat designed to accommodate 18 divers with a crew of 3. With a 14' beam, she provides a stable ride. Powered by twin 270 hp diesel motors, she cruises comfortably at 18-20 knots. Crew members include a highly experienced Captain, deckhand, cook and dive guide/naturalist. The PEZ SAPO (48 ft) is our diving and sea kayaking transport vessel for groups of 8-16 passengers. It is also used as the shuttle vessel on our Coastal and Islands Sea Kayaking trips.

Equipped with 110V generator, shaded deck and convenient swim step. The sun deck is ideal for marine life viewing. A fresh water rinse and restroom are an added luxury. Its added safety and comfort factors make our trips 100% unique in Baja.
